Student Nutrition

Dear MUSD Families,

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! As we anticipate the return of students onto our campuses, we look forward to providing meals to your student(s) in the school cafeteria! Our mission is to ensure all students are nourished to support their learning throughout the day.

ALL ENROLLED STUDENTS WILL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE SCHOOL MEALS AT NO COST FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR. Regardless of household income, one breakfast and one lunch meal will be offered to each student per school day.

MEAL APPLICATIONS: Even though all students will eat at no cost, it is important to submit a meal application this school year. You only need to complete one application per household. Families who are eligible for free/reduced price meals also receive discounted services on exam fees, utilities, and most importantly, it provides essential funding to our district. All applications are strictly confidential and will not be shared for any purpose other than determining eligibility.  Online meal applications are available at myschoolapps.musd.org.  Paper applications are available at your students’ school office.

STUDENT ACCOUNT REFUNDS: please contact Silvia at savila@musd.org

ALLERGEN INFORMATION: Allergen report is available in the menu section. The menus meet the federal and state requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guideline. Special meals can only be accommodated for medical reasons, and requires a medical statement to be completed by a physician, please use this form and submit it to SNS Office: 1585 Roger St. Milpitas 95035

Have a fantastic year!
