Weekly update, August 23

Good evening,

What a wonderful first full week of school. The students (and staff) are all settled into our daily routines and learning lots already.

Information/Updates:

TK/Kindergarten:

This will be their first week of regular schedule.  Dismissal on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is 1: 30pm.  Wednesdays will continue to be minimum day dismissal.

Aeries: Data confirmation/Parent Handbook

Each year, we need parents to log into Aeries and complete their data confirmation and review the Parent Handbook. The data confirmation is vitally important for our school funding and ThinkTogether registration for eligible students.  

Think Together

There is currently a waitlist for new registrations for the after school program.  If you are interested in having your student attend, please complete all the steps so that they can be added to the waitlist for any upcoming openings. 

Folklorico 

If you have not registered your child for the program, please do so quickly.  Rehearsals will begin next week and Maestra Trejo needs to make sure everyone is getting updates and information before the first practice.  

Band (Grades 4-6)

Please talk to your child about their possible interest in Band & Strings.  We had a wonderful program last year and are hoping to grow it even more this year.  Stay tuned for more information.

Attendance rate for this week: 96.72%

Our school goal is to have an overall 97% attendance rate. If your child is sick please remember to call the office. If they are out for 3 consecutive days, we will need a doctor's note upon their return to school.
