We hope you have a restful, fun, relaxing, enjoyable Spring Break.   There are only 7 weeks left of school now. 

Reminders:

State Testing (3rd to 6th grade) - Begins this week. Please make sure your child sleeps well, eats a good breakfast and arrives on time every day to be ready to be successful.  

Cell phones - Our policy is off and away and this aligns with the new law covering the use of phones on school campuses.   This means that the device is completely powered off (not on silent) and in their backpack. We are not responsible for any devices brought to school.  From now until the end of the year, any phones that are confiscated will require a parent or guardian to pick them up in the office.  Smart watches are only to be used as time keepers. Any other use will result in the watch being confiscated and held in the office for parent/guardian pick-up as well. 

Social media - With increasing issues with phone use, we are seeing that this is related to our students' use of social media accounts.  As a reminder, parents should have the passcode to their child’s phone and be monitoring ALL use at all times.  Most social media apps (including TikTok, SnapChat, WhatsApp, etc) require the user to be 13 to use the app.  Only 7 Randall students are currently eligible to use these apps without parental permission.
