The month is flying by and we are settling into our routines.

In honor and recognition of our home or ancestral countries, some of which are celebrating their Independence Days this coming week, we are hoping everyone will wear their traditional clothing, regardless of which country or culture we are from.

Sept 29 to Oct 3 - Minimum Days all week

Information:

We are asking our families to keep an extra eye out for our school. There have been several incidents over the past few weekends where someone or someones have come onto campus and been destructive to our campus facilities, equipment and garden.  If you see someone on our campus outside of the hours when our students, ThinkTogether students or TsuChi students (on Saturday) are attending, please call the authorities and let them know.  

Reminders:

Gum - we are seeing it or finding it more often in recent days. Please remind students to keep it as a treat at home.

Lost & Found - please check the rack in front of the new MUR if your child has returned home without a piece of clothing, lunch box or water bottle.  We do our best to return labeled items to classrooms but our rack is getting full of items without names.

Thank you for bringing your child to school each day. We have had a couple of students out sick this week- if your student is out sick please remember to call the office to let us know. Also, if your student is 3 days consecutively absent because they are sick we will need a doctor's note.

We have seen improvement in students getting to school on time but we still need to decrease our number of tardies. Please remember gates close by 7:55 a.m. Try to arrive before that to avoid traffic as well.
