Upcoming Events at Randall
Smarter Balanced State testing continues until May 25th at Randall for 3rd - 6th grade students
Teachers will let parents know when their child's class will test in Math, Language Arts and 5th grade Science.
Students have completed practice tests at school. They may complete practice tests at home. (see the Smarter Balanced link below for the Practice Tests) No password is needed. Students can practice any time.
- Parents, if possible, please schedule doctor and dental appointments on non-testing days so that your child will complete the assessments on the scheduled days.
- Make sure your child arrives to school on time.
- Make sure your child eats breakfast in the morning - at home or at school. Randall serves breakfast before school beginning at 7:35 AM.

Smarter Balanced Assessments for 3rd-6th Graders
SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) and CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress)
Randall students are training and practicing for the upcoming Math and Language Arts State of California assessments that will take place after our Spring Break on Tuesday, April 19th. Students will receive specific information from their teachers.

Students earn PRIDE tickets when they demonstrate PRIDE. Students can save their tickets and turn them in for prizes at our PRIDE Store.

Enrollment and Transfers
It is VERY important that every student has an updated emergency card on file in the office. We have had several incidence where a sick or injuried student needs to go home and non of the contact numbers are working. Please be sure to turn in a completed emergency cards and be sure to let us know if any numbers change.

Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship
Milpitas Unified School District is now offering resources to parents on the topic of Digital Citizenship. These resources cover topics such as cyberbullying, protecting your child's reputation, online etiquette, respecting creative work, research skills, plagiarism, and more.
