Kindergarten (K) and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Registration for 2015-2016
Kindergarten registration for the Milpitas Unified School District will begin at all elementary schools on March 2, 2015. Registration packets will be available at your home school site.
The California Kindergarten Readiness Act of 2010 amended the California Education Code which requires your child to reach age five on or before September 1, 2015 to be eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year. This law also established a transitional kindergarten (TK) for our young five year olds. According to California Education Code, children who reach age five between Sept. 2nd and Dec. 2nd are eligible for transitional kindergarten (TK).
For additional registration information for MUSD (Milpitas Unified School District), visit the district's homepage at www.musd.org and select the PARENTS - REGISTRATION INFORMATION tab. You may use the School Locator Link below to find your home school site.
