2016-2017 School Year Reminders
THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS: THURSDAY, AUGUST 11th, 2016
Randall is a uniform school. All students should be dressed in uniform on the first day of school. Mr. Salcido shared the uniform colors and styles during the Open House presentation. An information flyer will be sent home before the last day of school. The information will be posted on our website soon.

Smarter Balanced Assessments for 3rd-6th Graders
SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) and CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress)
Randall students are training and practicing for the upcoming Math and Language Arts State of California assessments that will take place after our Spring Break on Tuesday, April 19th. Students will receive specific information from their teachers.

Students earn PRIDE tickets when they demonstrate PRIDE. Students can save their tickets and turn them in for prizes at our PRIDE Store.

Enrollment and Transfers
It is VERY important that every student has an updated emergency card on file in the office. We have had several incidence where a sick or injuried student needs to go home and non of the contact numbers are working. Please be sure to turn in a completed emergency cards and be sure to let us know if any numbers change.

Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship
Milpitas Unified School District is now offering resources to parents on the topic of Digital Citizenship. These resources cover topics such as cyberbullying, protecting your child's reputation, online etiquette, respecting creative work, research skills, plagiarism, and more.
